The invention describes a holder for a vehicle identification plate, in addition to the conventional rear plate, for use when the cargo compartment is open. For that purpose, the vehicle (3) has at least one tailgate (33), the inside of which is provided with a tilting extender (34) which, in the open folded-down position, defines an extension of the plane of the floor (31) of the cargo bed of the vehicle (3). The plate holder (1) comprises a base (2) which is secured to the extender (34) and carries a tilting plate carrier (5), the base (2) further having a lock (4), being retractable and capable of keeping the plate carrier (5) in the folded-down or retracted positions. L'invention concerne un support pour une plaque d'immatriculation de véhicule, en plus de la plaque arrière classique, à utiliser avec l'habitacle de charge à l'état ouvert. À cet effet, le véhicule (3) présente au moins une porte arrière (33), intérieurement dotée d'un extenseur (34) basculant qui, en condition rabattue ouverte, définit une extension du plan du plancher (31) de la zone de charge du véhicule (3). Ledit support de plaque (1) comprend une base (2) fixée à l'extenseur (34) et supportant, de manière basculante, un porte-plaque (5), ladite base (2) présentant en outre un élément de blocage (4) rétractile et apte à maintenir le porte-plaque (5) dans les positions rabattue ou rétractée. É descrito um suporte para uma placa de identificação de veículo, além da placa traseira convencional, a ser utilizada com o habitáculo de carga na condição aberto. Para tanto, o veículo (3) apresenta ao menos uma porta traseira (33), internamente dotada de um extensor (34) basculante que, na condição rebatida aberta define uma extensão do plano do piso (31) da área de carga do veículo (3). Dito suporte de placa (1) compreende uma base (2), fixada no extensor (34) e que suporta, de forma basculante, um porta placa (5), sendo que a dita base (2) apresenta ainda uma trava (4), retrátil e apta a manter o porta placa (5) nas posições rebatida ou retraída.
