A cap (30) can be mounted to and removed from a connector (1) provided with a female thread (16) provided on the inner peripheral surface of a circular cylinder-shaped outer cylinder (15). The cap (30) is provided with: a top plate (31) configured so as to be capable of closing an opening of the outer cylinder (15); a rib (32) provided to the top plate (31) and configured so as to be capable of being inserted into the outer cylinder (15); and a protrusion (33) protruding from a side surface of the rib (32). The protrusion (33) is disposed at a distance from the top plate (31) so as to be capable of being engaged with the female thread (16).
