Summary:A rotary cell culture apparatus (1000) according to the present invention comprises a fixed shaft (800) which is fixed without rotation and has a gas supply and discharge member (850) installed on one end thereof, the gas supply and discharge member having a gas supply path (841) and a gas discharge path (861). The fixed shaft (800) is installed across the inside of a culture container (100) containing a culture medium, and the culture container (100) rotates around the fixed shaft. Rotation means (M) (210, 220) for forcedly rotating the culture container (100) around the fixed shaft (800) are provided. A gas collecting means (580) communicating with the gas discharge path (861) of the gas supply and discharge member (850) of the fixed shaft (800) is installed in the culture container (100). The fixed shaft (800) has a hollow portion (838) communicating with the gas supply path (841) and having a porous surface. An air compressor (40) for supplying air to the gas supply path (841) is provided.
