This information processing device is provided with: a communication interface that communicates with another information processing device; and a control circuit that is configured to receive, through the communication interface, a connection request including an abbreviated ID generated from a terminal ID identifying either one of the information processing devices serving as a connection request source or a connection request destination, to transmit a connection response to the connection request, and to be set to a connection response-limited state in which the transmission of the connection response to the connection request from the information processing device serving as the request source is limited for a given time if a connection with the information processing device serving as the request source has been established and cut off after the terminal IDs have been exchanged.
