La présente invention concerne un navire porte-conteneur configuré pour stocker une pluralité de conteneurs d'expédition au-dessus du pont ouvert. Le navire porte-conteneur comprend au moins une caméra vidéo numérique agencée pour capturer un champ de vision à l'avant de l'avant de la proue du navire porte-conteneur, un pont pourvu d'instruments pour commande de direction, des instruments pour la commande de moteur, et avec au moins un écran d'affichage couplé à l'au moins une caméra vidéo numérique pour la reproduction en temps réel d'images capturées par la caméra vidéo numérique.
