A communication apparatus used in an ad-hoc network communication or wireless mesh network communication to provide a relay between another communication apparatus and a different network apparatus comprises a means for selecting communication path candidates, a means for displaying the current states of the communication paths, and a means for arbitrarily selecting a displayed communication path, wherein a communication path is set according to a setting that does not permit relaying of the other communication apparatus or a setting that permits relaying of the other communication apparatus.
