INNOVATIVE DEVICE FOR INSTANT OFFICIAL TRANSLATION FROM UNIFIED ARABIC SIGN LANGUAGE INTO AUDIBLE LANGUAGE AND VICE VERSA

جهاز إلكتروني مبتكر (شكل 1) صغير الحجم مشغل لنظام للترجمة الرسمية الفورية بين الأصم العربي والمتعاملين معه/ها دون وسيط بشري. كما أن الجهاز يمكنه أن يُسهل متابعة المذياع والتلفاز المستخدمة لللغة العربية للصم العرب جميعاً. والاختراع عبارة عن جهاز فريد يحوزه الأصم العربي أو الجهات الرسمية الحكومية لكي يتم بواسطته نقل ما يريد الأصم قوله بشكل رسمي وفوري للاستخدام في الجهات الرسمية والقضائية، وذلك بالاعتماد على الترجمة في الاتجاهين: من لغة الإشارة العربية إلى اللغة العربية بشكل منطوق ومسموع والعكس وذلك طبقاً لقاموس لغة الإشارة العربي الموحد والمعتمد من إدارة التنمية المجتمعية التابعة لجامعة الدول العربية سواء الإشارة المستخدمة ليد واحدة فقط أو يدين ثابتتين أو متحركتين. ويقوم الجهاز بالترجمة من وإلى لغة الإشارة عن طريق تشغيل الجهاز (6) ومن ثم الضغط على زر التحكم (5). وعند الضغط على زر التحكم يقوم الجهاز بالتقاط وتسجيل الحركات الصادرة من الأصم عن طريق الكاميرا (3) المثبتة في واجهة الجهاز ثم يترجمها إلى اللغة العربية الاصطلاحية بشكل منطوق وواضح يسمعها الطرف المقابل عن طريق السماعة (8) المثبتة في خلفية الجهاز أو سماعة الرأس (2) المثبتة على جانب الجهاز. وعندما يحرر الأصم زر التحكم يقوم الميكروفون (7) المثبت في خلفية الجهاز أو المثبت في (2) بنقل الكلام المسموع إلى الجهاز لترجمته إلى لغة الإشارة العربية والتي تظهر للأصم على الشاشة (4) المثبتة على واجهة الجهاز. شكل (1) يمثل الاختراع بشكل عام (يشير الرقم (1) في الشكل إلى واجهات الجهاز المبتكر الأمامية والخلفية والجانبية). The invention relates to an innovative, small electronic device used for a system for instant official translation between a deaf Arabic speaker and persons interacting with him or her, without a human intermediary. The device can also facilitate the following of radio and television broadcasts in Arabic, for all deaf Arabic speakers. The invention concerns a single device that is used by the deaf Arabic speaker or official government bodies to translation what the deaf person wants to say, in an official and instant manner for use by official or judicial bodies. This is done by means of two-way translation, from Arabic sign language into audible spoken Arabic and vice versa, in accordance with the unified Arabic sign language dictionary adopted by the Social Development Department of the League of Arab States, regardless of whether the sign used is for only one hand or for two stationary or moving hands. The device translates from and into sign language by activating the device (6) and then pressing the control button (5). When the control button is pressed, the device captures and records the movements made by the deaf person, by means of a camera (3) installed on the front of the device, and then translates these into clear, idiomatic spoken Arabic heard by the other party by means of a speaker (8) installed on the back of the device or by means of a headphone (2) installed on the side of the device. When the deaf person releases the control button, a microphone (7) installed on the back of the device or the headphone (2) transmits audible speech to the device to translate same into Arabic sign language that appears to the deaf person on a screen (4) installed on the front of the device. L'invention concerne un dispositif électronique innovant de petite taille utilisé dans un système de traduction officielle instantanée entre un interlocuteur arabophone sourd et des personnes interagissant avec lui, sans aucun intermédiaire humain. Le dispositif peut également permettre à toutes les personnes sourdes arabophones de suivre aisément les émissions radio ou télévisées en langue arabe. L'invention concerne un dispositif unique utilisé par une personne sourde arabophone ou des instances gouvernementales officielles pour traduire le discours prononcé par la personne sourde, de façon officielle et instantanée à l'intention des instances officielles ou juridiques. Ceci est réalisé au moyen de la traduction bidirectionnelle, effectuée de la langue des signes arabe vers la langue arabe énoncée et audible, et vice versa, selon le dictionnaire de la langue des signes arabe unifiée adopté par le département du développement social de la Ligue des Etats arabes, et ce quel que soit le signe utilisé (d'une main ou de deux mains immobiles ou mobiles). Le dispositif traduit depuis et vers la langue des signes dès lors que le dispositif (6) est activé et que le bouton de commande (5) est pressé. Lorsque le bouton de commande est pressé, le dispositif capture et enregistre les mouvements effectués par la personne sourde au moyen d'une caméra (3) montée à l'avant du dispositif, puis les traduit en langue arabe idiomatique parlée claire que l'autre partie peut entendre via un haut-parleur (8) monté à l'arrière du dispositif ou des écouteurs (2) montés sur le côté du dispositif. Lorsque la personne sourde relâche le bouton de commande, un discours audible est transmis au dispositif à travers un microphone (7) monté à l'arrière du dispositif ou des écouteurs (2) pour qu'il soit traduit en langue des signes arabe, et il apparaît à la personne sourde sur un écran (4) monté à l'avant du dispositif.
