More particularly, described herein are methods comprising a post-fabrication, extended heat treatment of such photovoltaic articles that improves stability against light degradation while under electric load. L'invention concerne des procédés de fabrication d'articles photovoltaïques qui incorporent un ou plusieurs semi-conducteurs de chalcogénure, au moins un semi-conducteur de chalcogénure comprenant du cuivre et au moins un chalcogène. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne des procédés comprenant un traitement thermique prolongé post-fabrication de ces articles photovoltaïques qui améliore leur stabilité contre la dégradation par la lumière lorsqu'ils sont sous une charge électrique.
