Summary:Polymeric conjugates comprising a polymeric matrix having associated therewith an agent that down-regulates an activity or expression of a polypeptide associated with onset or progression of melanoma, and optionally and preferably, an additional agent that acts in synergy with said agent, are provided. Synthetic methodologies for preparing these conjugates and uses thereof in treating melanoma and other cancerous diseases are also provided. La présente invention concerne des conjugués polymères comprenant une matrice polymère à laquelle est associé un agent qui régule une activité ou une expression d'un polypeptide associé à l'apparition ou la progression d'un mélanome, et éventuellement et de préférence, un agent additionnel qui agit en synergie avec ledit agent. L'invention concerne en outre des méthodologies de synthèse pour préparer ces conjugués et leurs utilisations dans le traitement d'un mélanome et d'autres maladies cancéreuses.
