A compound having a structure represented by the general formula below radiates delayed fluorescence and is useful as a light-emitting material. One or more of Ｒ1, Ｒ2, Ｒ3, Ｒ4, and R5 represents a 9-carbazolyl group having a substituent at position 1 and/or position 8, or a 10-phenoxazyl group or 10-phenothiazyl group having a substituent at position 1 and/or position 9. The remainder represent hydrogen atoms or substituents. L'invention concerne un composé présentant une structure représentée par la formule générale ci-dessous qui émet une fluorescence retardée et est utile comme matière électroluminescente. Un, ou plus, parmi R1, R2, R3, R4 et R5 représente un groupe 9-carbazolyle comprenant un substituant en position 1 et/ou en position 8 ou un groupe 10-phénoxazyle ou 10-phénothiazyle présentant un substituant en position 1 et/ou en position 9.
