Disclosed is a securing device (1) for providing a movable unit (3) of a linear guiding mechanism (5) with additional safety in that the securing device prevents the movable unit from coming off a guiding rail (7) in case of a bearing malfunction. The securing device comprises at least one securing portion (9A, 9B) and a coupling portion (11) for coupling the at least one securing portion to the movable unit. The securing portion is engageable with the guiding rail in case of a failure of the movable unit. La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fixation (1) pour doter une unité mobile (3) d'un mécanisme de guidage linéaire (5) d'une sécurité supplémentaire en ce que le dispositif de fixation empêche l'unité mobile de sortir d'un rail de guidage (7) dans le cas d'un dysfonctionnement de palier. Le dispositif de fixation comprend au moins une partie de fixation (9A, 9B) et une partie de couplage (11) pour coupler ladite au moins une partie de fixation à l'unité mobile.
