The present invention relates to an oil storage structure for a fluid coupling. The present invention also relates to a fluid coupling provided with such an oil storage structure. An oil storage structure has: a tank (36) for storing oil used to operate a fluid coupling; a liquid level detector (49) having a float (67) which is disposed within the tank (36), and detecting the level of oil within the tank (36) on the basis of the position of the float (67); a float extraction opening (52) formed in the tank (36); a mountable and demountable cover (57) for covering the float extraction opening (52); and a float receiver (58) disposed directly below the float (67) and located below the float extraction opening (52).
