In the present invention, resonant frequency is adjusted in a packaged resonator device. Provided are the following: a bottom cover formed from non-degenerate silicon; a resonator which includes a substrate formed from degenerate silicon and having a bottom surface facing the bottom cover, a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer laminated on the substrate, and a piezoelectric film formed between the first electrode layer and second electrode layer and having a surface facing the top surface of the substrate via the first electrode layer; and a top cover facing the bottom cover such that the resonator is interposed therebetween. The bottom surface of the substrate has an adjustment section which is a region where the depth or the height of the irregularities formed in the surface is greater than other regions on the bottom surface of the substrate, or is a region where the surface area occupied by irregularities is greater than such other regions.
