The roving frame is thus particularly compact and can have other frames juxtaposed longitudinally to it occupying a limited area. L'invention concerne un banc à broches (1) qui comporte une tête de commande (80) comprenant des actionneurs électriques (122) pour les moteurs électriques principaux (32, 46, 45, 44, 182, 184, 64, 66) contenus dans un compartiment principal (120) accessible depuis l'arrière de la tête (80). La tête fournit en outre des éléments électriques secondaires (152) contenus dans un compartiment secondaire (150) accessible depuis l'avant de la tête (80). Le banc à broches est ainsi particulièrement compact et d'autres bancs peuvent y être juxtaposés longitudinalement, ce dernier occupant un espace restreint.
