The present invention relates to a vacuum insulation panel (1) comprising a core material (2) with open porous structure and a barrier (3) that holds the core material (2) together. The open porous core material (2) is filled into a barrier (3) preferably together with a getter material, depending on the material properties forming the core material (2) and vacuumed. Thus, a vacuum insulation panel (1) is realized comprising the open porous core material (2) having low thermal conductivity coefficient, with increased insulation effectiveness. La présente invention concerne un panneau isolant sous vide (1) comportant un matériau d'âme (2) de structure poreuse ouverte et une structure barrière (3) qui retient le matériau d'âme (2). Le matériau d'âme (2) à porosité ouverte est rempli dans une structure barrière (3) de préférence conjointement avec un matériau getter, en fonction des propriétés du matériau formant le matériau d'âme (2), et mis sous vide. On réalise ainsi un panneau isolant sous vide (1) comportant le matériau d'âme (2) à porosité ouverte qui présente un faible coefficient de conductivité thermique, avec une efficacité d'isolation accrue.
