The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an artificial stone slab with veins comprises preparing a moldable hardenable fluid mixture of a first material (11); pouring said mixture into a mold (20) an upper face being exposed; engraving the exposed upper face with a predefined precise pattern of grooves (30) coinciding with a pattern of thin veins to be obtained; impregnating at least the inner faces (31) of said grooves (30) with a moldable hardenable fluid mixture of a second material (12), the color of both materials being different; causing the collapse and closure of the grooves, a visible pattern of thin veins of a second material with a natural look being left behind; curing the artificial stone slab by subjecting it to vibration, compression and vacuum until the fluid mixtures of the first material and of the second material are hardened. La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une dalle de pierre artificielle comprenant des veines consistant à préparer un mélange fluide d'un premier matériau (11) durcissable pouvant être moulé ; à verser ledit mélange dans un moule (20) dont une face supérieure est exposée ; à graver ladite face supérieure exposée avec un motif précis prédéfini de rainures (30) coïncidant avec un motif de veines minces à obtenir ; à imprégner au moins les faces intérieures (31) desdites rainures (30) avec un mélange fluide d'un second matériau (12) durcissable pouvant être moulé, lesdits deux matériaux ayant des couleurs différentes ; à provoquer l'affaissement et la fermeture des rainures, un motif visible de veines minces d'un second matériau ayant un aspect naturel étant laissé derrière ; à durcir la dalle de pierre artificielle en la soumettant à des vibrations, à une compression et au vide jusqu'à durcir les mélanges fluides du premier matériau et du second matériau.
