A display system for a vehicle is disclosed. The system comprises an imager configured to capture image data in a field of view rearward relative the vehicle. The system further comprises a display device and a controller. The display device comprises a screen disposed in a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The controller is in communication with the imager and the display device. The controller is operable to process the image data to identify at least one feature. Based on a position or orientation of the at least one feature in the image data, the controller adjusts at least one of a position and an orientation of a desired view of the image data for display on the screen. La présente invention concerne un système d'affichage pour un véhicule. Le système comprend un imageur configuré pour capturer des données d'image dans un champ de vue vers l'arrière par rapport au véhicule. Le système comprend en outre un dispositif d'affichage et un dispositif de commande. Le dispositif d'affichage comprend un écran disposé dans un compartiment passager du véhicule. Le dispositif de commande est en communication avec l'imageur et avec le dispositif d'affichage. Le dispositif de commande est conçu pour traiter les données d'image afin d'identifier au moins une caractéristique. Sur la base d'une position ou d'une orientation de la ou des caractéristiques dans les données d'image, le dispositif de commande règle la position et/ou l'orientation d'une vue souhaitée des données d'image pour un affichage sur l'écran.
