A reinforcing member (17) extending in the front-rear direction of the vehicle is joined to the undersurface of a lower angled section (11a) of a dash panel (11). A vehicle rear end section (19b2) of a front sub-frame (19) is fastened and affixed to an attachment member (31) affixed to the bottom surface of an angled section (17a) of the reinforcing member (17) by using an affixing part (33). When the vehicle receives an impact from the front and the front sub-frame (19) moves rearward, the upper end of the affixing part (33) is pressed downward along the angled section (17a), and the vehicle-rear-end section (19b2) of the front sub-frame (19) separates from the vehicle chassis.
