Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schleifstaub-Absaugvorrichtung für eine fahrbare Bodenschleifmaschine (1) mit wenigstens zwei horizontal angeordneten rotierend angetriebenen Schleifwerkzeughaltevorrichtungen (21, 22), insbesondere in Form von Tellern, auf deren dem zu schleifenden Boden zugewandten Seiten (2a) Schleifwerkzeuge (23) anordenbar sind, wobei eine Staubschutzhaube (5) vorhanden ist, welche dazu vorbereitet ist zum einen auf der Oberseite (52) der Schleifwerkzeughaitevorrichtung (21, 22) vermittels einer insbesondere kreisförmigen Abdichtvorrichtung (51), insbesondere in Form einer gegen die Oberseite (52) der Schleifwerkzeughaltevorrichtung (21, 22) gerichteten an der Staubschutzhaube befestigten Bürste (53), dichtend aufzusetzen, und zum anderen neben der Schleifwerkzeughaltevorrichtung (21, 22) auf dem Boden (6) der zu polierenden Oberfläche ebenfalls dichtend aufzusetzen, wobei die Staubschutzhaube (5) den Innen-Bereich (62) der rotierenden Schleifwerkzeughaltevorrichtung (21, 22) bis über die rotierende Schleifwerkzeughaltevorrichtung (21, 22) hinausreichend auf den Boden (6) der zu polierenden Oberfläche gegenüber dem Außenbereich (61) abzudichten vermag.
