Summary: | A composite electrode is a composite of conductive materials of at least a first material and a second material, wherein the first material undergoes a parasitic reaction in a region where the second material is stable, and the first material and second material are stable at the first material's nominal voltage. An exemplary electrode is a cathode comprising lithium manganese oxide (LMO) and lithium iron phosphate (LFP).
