La présente invention concerne des matériaux à base de colophane, comprenant du tall-oil brut (CTO), de la colophane de tall-oil (TOR), du tall-oil distillé (DTO), de l'acide gras brut (CFA), ainsi que des procédés de fabrication de ceux-ci. Les matériaux contenant de la colophane peuvent présenter une couleur améliorée (par exemple, une couleur Gardner réduite), une teneur en soufre réduite, une stabilité de couleur améliorée, ou une combinaison de ces caractéristiques.
