A container for microwave cooking (1) according to the present invention comprises: a main body (20) having a storage portion (21) that stores food (2) and a seasoning (3); and a sealing portion (30) that seals an opening (25) of the storage portion (21), wherein the main body (20) and the sealing portion (30) have their respective edge portions bonded together, sealing and storing the food (2) and the seasoning (3). The storage portion (21) has a substantially rectangular shape and comprises: a bottom portion (22) abutting the placement surface of the container when the container is heated; and a side surface portion (23) that is disposed between the bottom portion (22)and the sealing portion (30) and that surrounds the interior of the storage portion (21) on all four sides. In the four corners (Cn) of the storage portion (21), the bottom portion (22) and the side surface portion (23) are connected via a convex curved surface (24) projecting from an inner side of the storage portion (21) to an outer side, wherein the storage portion (21) does not have corner portions between the bottom portion (22) and the side surface portion (23) in the four corners (Cn).
