Fahrzeugluftreifen mit einem Laufstreifen, welcher bei zumindest einem Schulterbereich ein Profilband (1, 1') aufweist, das durch eine in Umfangsrichtung umlaufende Umfangsrille (2) von weiteren Profilelementen (1b, 1'b) getrennt ist, wobei im Profilband (1, 1') eine Vielzahl von in Umfangsrichtung beabstandeten Querrillen (3) verläuft, welche in einem Abstand (a) vor der Umfangsrille (2) enden. Am laufstreifeninnenseitigen Ende von Querrillen (3) münden in Umfangsrichtung verlaufende Entwässerungsnuten (4, 4') ein, welche zumindest über einen Großteil ihrer Erstreckung eine Tiefe von 1,5 mm bis 3 mm und welche eine sich über ihre Erstreckung verringernde Breite (bi) aufweisen, wobei sie ihre größte Breite (bi) an ihrem Anfang bei einer Querrille (3) aufweisen. Des entailles d'évacuation d'eau (4, 4') s'étendant dans la direction périphérique débouchent dans l'extrémité des rainures transversales (3) située du côté intérieur de la bande de roulement, lesdites entailles d'évacuation d'eau présentent une profondeur de 1,5 mm à 3 mm et une largeur (bi) diminuant progressivement sur leur longueur, la largeur maximale (bi) correspondant au début des entailles, au niveau d'une rainure transversale (3).
