A composite sheet production method whereby a composite sheet (7A) is produced that has a stretchable sheet (8A) for an absorbent article and a low-stretch sheet (9A) having lower stretching properties than the stretchable sheet (8A), said method having: a printing step (10) in which aqueous ink droplets are sprayed towards the low-stretch sheet (9A) and an image (G) is printed on the surface of the low-stretch sheet (9A); a contact step (20) in which heated air is caused to come in contact with the low-stretch sheet (9A) having the image (G) printed thereupon; and a bonding step (50) in which, after the contact step (20), the stretchable sheet (8A) being in a stretched state is bonded to the low-stretch sheet (9A).
