The invention relates to a spinal fixation device that comprises an elongated splint core element (14a) having a longitudinal centre line (30). The splint core element includes a first elongated member (15) made of a permanently deformable corrugated metal sheet with its corrugations being transversal to the longitudinal centre line (30) of the splint core element (14a), and at least one second elongated member (16) made of a permanently deformable corrugated metal sheet with its corrugations extending in parallel to the longitudinal centre line (30) of the splint core element (14a) and secured to the first elongated member (15), wherein each one of said at least one second elongated member (16) is arranged on the first elongated member (15) in a central alignment with said longitudinal centre line (30). The device further comprises a covering layer (17) on both faces of the splint core element (14a), said covering layer being formed so that its inner surface facing towards the splint core element (14a) at least partially fills in the exposed corrugation troughs of the corrugated first and second elongated members (15, 16), and an adhesive layer (18) on the covering layer (17) on one side of the splint core element (14a). La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fixation rachidienne comprenant un élément central d'attelle allongé (14a) présentant une ligne centrale longitudinale (30). L'élément central d'attelle comprend un premier élément allongé (15) constitué d'une feuille métallique ondulée déformable de manière permanente dont les ondulations sont transversales à la ligne centrale longitudinale (30) de l'élément central d'attelle (14a), et au moins un second élément allongé (16), constitué d'une feuille métallique ondulée déformable de manière permanente dont les ondulations s'étendent en parallèle à la ligne centrale longitudinale (30) de l'élément central d'attelle (14a), et fixé au premier élément allongé (15), chacun dudit ou desdits seconds éléments allongés (16) étant disposé sur le premier élément allongé (15) dans un alignement central avec ladite ligne centrale longitudinale (30). Le dispositif comprend en outre une couche de revêtement (17) sur les deux faces de l'élément central d'attelle (14a), ladite couche de revêtement étant formée de sorte que sa surface interne faisant face à l'élément central d'attelle (14a) remplit au moins partiellement les creux d'ondulation exposés des premier et second éléments allongés ondulés (15, 16), et une couche adhésive (18) sur la couche de revêtement (17) sur un côté de l'élément central d'attelle (14a).
