Summary: | The present invention provides a positive-electrode active material for a lithium-ion secondary cell or a positive-electrode active material for a sodium-ion secondary cell, and a method for manufacturing said material. Said material makes it possible to effectively achieve better charge/discharge characteristics. Namely, the present invention is a positive-electrode active material for a secondary cell, the material being obtained by cellulose-nanofiber-derived carbon being supported on an oxide expressed by formula (A): LiFeaMnbMcPO4, formula (B): LiFeaMnbMcSiO4, or formula (C): NaFegMnhQiPO4.
