The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite bipolar plate from a composition comprising at least one flake graphite and at least one thermoplastic polymer. Said method comprises the following consecutive steps: (a) dry sieving of the composition by means of a sieve for which the mesh diameters are less than or equal to 1000 μm, (b) dry blending of the sieved composition, (c) deposition of the blended composition in a mould, said mould preferably being preheated, (d) moulding by thermocompression of the blended composition with induction heating of the mould, and (e) removal from the mould of the thermocompressed composition leading to the obtaining of the composite bipolar plate. The invention also relates to a composite bipolar plate manufactured by said method, the use of this composite bipolar plate and a fuel cell comprising such a composite bipolar plate. L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication d'une plaque bipolaire composite à partir d'une composition comprenant au moins un graphite lamellaire et au moins un polymère thermoplastique. Ce procédé comprend les étapes successives suivantes : (a) le tamisage à sec de la composition au moyen d'un tamis dont le diamètre de mailles est inférieur ou égal à 1000 μm, (b) le mélangeage à sec de la composition tamisée, (c) le dépôt de la composition mélangée dans un moule, ce moule étant de préférence préchauffé, (d) le moulage par thermocompression de la composition mélangée avec chauffage par induction du moule, et (e) le démoulage de la composition thermocomprimée conduisant à l'obtention de la plaque bipolaire composite. L'invention se rapporte également à une plaque bipolaire composite fabriquée par ce procédé, à l'utilisation de cette plaque bipolaire composite ainsi qu'à une pile à combustible comprenant une telle plaque bipolaire composite.
