Summary:Embodiments of a system (16) for a multi-sector base station in a cellular communications network are disclosed. In one embodiment, the system includes an integrated unit (18), where the integrated unit (18) includes multiple antennas (22) and a radio unit (RU) coupled to the antennas (22). By integrating the multiple antennas (22) and the radio RU into a single integrated unit (18), the system can, in some embodiments, reduce installation and operating costs of the multi-sector base station. Des modes de réalisation de l'invention concernent un système (16) pour une station de base multisectorielle dans un réseau de communication cellulaire. Dans un mode de réalisation, le système comprend une unité intégrée (18) comprenant des antennes multiples (22) et une unité radio (RU) couplée aux antennes (22). L'intégration des antennes multiples (22) et de l'unité radio en une unité intégrée unique (18) permet au système selon l'invention de réduire, dans certains modes de réalisation, les coûts d'installation et de fonctionnement de la station de base multisectorielle.
