The present invention relates to a lyocell fiber and, more specifically, to a lyocell fiber capable of showing equivalent levels or higher of physical properties compared to a conventional lyocell fiber even if being used in a lesser amount by controlling the cross section shape of a monofilament included in the lyocell fiber and improving the specific surface area of the fiber.
