[Problem] To provide a fuel battery device capable of re-ignition with good efficiency. [Solution] This fuel battery device has a control unit with which if the power required by an external load is reduced, and if combustion by a combustion part (45) is determined to have failed, a fuel gas feed unit and an oxygen-containing gas feed unit are controlled such that the amount of fuel gas and oxygen-containing gas fed to a fuel battery cell (19) is controlled to an amount that is less than the supply amount set in accordance with the power required by the external load which was reduced, and an ignition unit is actuated. Le problème décrit par la présente invention est de fournir un dispositif de batterie à combustible apte à un ré-allumage avec une bonne efficacité.
