The surfactant treatment consists essentially of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms. The surfactant treated material has a BFE after electret treatment of at least 97 percent and is hydrophilic. L'invention concerne un traitement par tensio-actif pour un tissu non tissé polyoléfinique servant de milieu filtrant ou servant à recueillir la poussière et la saleté, tel qu'un balai à franges ou un dispositif similaire. Le traitement par tensio-actif est constitué essentiellement d'atomes de carbone, d'hydrogène et d'oxygène. Le matériau traité par tensio-actif présente une efficacité de filtration bactérienne (BFE) après traitement d'électret d'au moins 97% et il est hydrophile.
