Hygienic product comprising an odor control material (1) having a longitudinal direction (Y), a transverse direction (X) and a thickness direction (Z), the odor control material (1) comprising a first carrier material (2) wherein a plurality of odor control particles (3) are bonded to at least one surface of the first carrier material by a binder substance (4) characterized in that the first carrier (2) material in an unexpanded condition has a plurality of transversal slits (6), and that the first carrier material (2) in an expanded condition in the longitudinal direction (Y) has a plurality of openings (7),and that the first carrier material (2) is fixed in the expanded condition in the hygienic product whereby the odor control material (1) is in the form of a reticulated structure. La présente invention concerne un produit d'hygiène comprenant un matériau d'élimination des odeurs (1) ayant une direction longitudinale (Y), une direction transversale (X) et une direction d'épaisseur (Z), le matériau d'élimination des odeurs (1) étant constitué d'un premier matériau porteur (2), une pluralité de particules d'élimination des odeurs (3) étant liées à au moins une surface du premier matériau porteur par une substance liante (4), caractérisé en ce que le premier matériau porteur (2), dans un état non déployé, comprend une pluralité de fentes transversales (6), et en ce que le premier matériau porteur (2), dans un état déployé dans la direction longitudinale (Y), comporte une pluralité d'ouvertures (7), et en ce que le premier matériau porteur (2) est fixé, dans l'état expansé, dans le produit d'hygiène, ce qui donne au matériau d'élimination des odeurs (1) la forme d'une structure réticulée.
