The support for the irradiation object is moveable at least horizontally, and the irradiation nozzle is moveable at least vertically and rotatable around a nozzle swivel axis along which the particle beam enters into the irradiation nozzle. L'invention concerne un dispositif d'irradiation pour irradier un objet à irradier avec des particules lourdes chargées, comprenant un support pour l'objet à irradier et une buse d'irradiation émettant un faisceau de particules chargées vers l'objet à irradier, le faisceau étant dévié dans la buse d'irradiation. Le support pour l'objet à irradier est mobile au moins horizontalement, et la buse d'irradiation est mobile au moins verticalement et peut tourner autour d'un axe de pivotement de buse le long duquel le faisceau de particules entre dans la buse d'irradiation.
