A video signal adjustment module and adjustment method, the video signal adjustment module comprising a first impedance matching circuit, a second impedance matching circuit, a handover switch, and a processing unit. The video signal adjustment module is electrically connected between a tuner and a video decoder of a video processing system, and, by means of the processing unit, receives and determines whether the output amplitude of the video signal is lower than a standard value, and correspondingly controls the handover switch performing handover between the first impedance matching circuit and the second impedance matching circuit, causing impedance matching to be implemented between the tuner outputting the video signal and the video decoder receiving the video signal, such that the output amplitude of the video signal reaches the standard value, and the occurrence of image distortion (e.g. the picture is too dim or too bright) is avoided.
