This invention provides a cantilever attachment fitting that makes it easy to attach a cantilever to a cantilever holder. Said cantilever attachment fitting (100) has an attachment platform (21a), a pressing member (21b), and a lifting mechanism (21c). The cantilever (1) is placed on the top surface of the attachment platform (21a), the pressing member (21b) presses the cantilever (1) up against said top surface, and the lifting mechanism (21c) moves the pressing member (21b) upwards from the top surface of the attachment platform (21a). This cantilever attachment fitting (100) is provided with the following: a sliding platform (120) that has a sliding surface (121) along which the cantilever (1) is slid towards the attachment platform (21a); a base (110) that keeps the cantilever holder (20) fixed in the horizontal direction such that the attachment platform (21a) is at a prescribed position with respect to the sliding platform (120); and a pressure-applying part (130) for applying downwards pressure to the cantilever holder (20) affixed to the base (110).
