CALIBRATION OF A METER BUILT INTO A LINE OF A HYDROCARBON PRODUCTION PLANT

A method for calibrating a meter built into a line of a hydrocarbon production plant, in which the meter is suitable for providing an estimate of the flow rate of a fluid in the line depending on a measurement of the fluid carried out by at least one sensor and on the value of at least one calibration parameter corresponding to the measurement of the sensor under a predetermined condition of flow of the fluid in the line. The method includes at least one in situ measurement (S20) by the sensor under the predetermined condition, followed by the determination (S30) of the value of the calibration parameter depending on the result of the measurement. This offers a solution for the improved calibration of a meter. Procédé de calibration d'un compteur métrique intégré à une ligne d'une installation de production d'hydrocarbures, dans lequel le compteur est adapté à fournir une estimation du débit d'un fluide dans la ligne en fonction d'une mesure réalisée par au moins un capteur sur le fluide et de la valeur d'au moins un paramètre de calibration correspondant à la mesure du capteur sous une condition prédéterminée d'écoulement du fluide dans la ligne. Le procédé comprend au moins une mesure (S20) par le capteur sous la condition prédéterminée, in situ, puis la détermination (S30) de la valeur du paramètre de calibration en fonction du résultat de la mesure. Cela offre une solution de calibration d'un compteur métrique améliorée.
