A computing device receives an authentication code from a mobile terminal while the mobile terminal is in an offline state. The mobile terminal generates the authentication code based on payment authorization information it receives from a remote payment server while the mobile terminal is in an online state. The computing device extracts the payment authorization information from the authentication code and then generates a payment request using the payment authorization information, a payment amount and an authorized payment receiving account. Next, the computing device sends the payment request to the remote payment server. The remote payment server determines the validity of the payment request based on the payment authorization information, the payment amount and the authorized payment receiving account and returns a payment acknowledgment message to the remote computer. The computing device forwards the payment acknowledgment message to the mobile terminal, which then completes the payment transaction. Un dispositif informatique reçoit un code d'authentification d'un terminal mobile tandis que le terminal mobile est dans un état hors ligne. Le terminal mobile génère le code d'authentification en fonction d'informations d'autorisation de paiement qu'il reçoit d'un serveur de paiement distant tandis que le terminal mobile est dans un état en ligne. Le dispositif informatique extrait les informations d'autorisation de paiement du code d'autorisation puis génère une demande de paiement à l'aide des informations d'autorisation de paiement, un montant de paiement et un compte de réception de paiement autorisé. Ensuite, le dispositif informatique envoie la demande de paiement au serveur de paiement distant. Le serveur de paiement distant détermine la validité de la demande de paiement en fonction des informations d'autorisation de paiement, du montant de paiement et du compte de réception de paiement autorisé et renvoie un message d'accusé de réception de paiement à l'ordinateur distant. Le dispositif informatique transmet le message d'accusé de réception de paiement au terminal mobile, lequel termine ensuite la transaction de paiement.
