L'invention concerne un composé qui a une formule représentée par ce qui suit : Formule (I). Le nouveau composé de l'invention peut être préparé sous la forme d'une composition pharmaceutique, et peut être utile dans le traitement de maladies infectieuses, en particulier de maladies infectieuses bactériennes. Le composé peut être actif contre une enzyme spécifique dans le procédé de réplication d'ADN bactérien, l'ADN polymérase IIIE.
