The present invention relates to a pouch-type secondary cell and a method for manufacturing the same and, more particularly, to a pouch-type secondary cell and a method for manufacturing the same, the secondary cell comprising: a pouch-type case comprising an upper sheet and a lower sheet bonded to each other; and an electrode assembly contained in the pouch-type case, wherein the secondary cell further comprises a polymer coating layer for improving sealing properties on the outer peripheral surface of the pouch-type case, on which the upper sheet and the lower sheet of the pouch-type case are bonded to each other. La présente invention porte sur une cellule secondaire de type étui et sur son procédé de fabrication et, plus particulièrement, sur une cellule secondaire de type étui et son procédé de fabrication, la cellule secondaire comportant : un boîtier de type étui comportant une feuille supérieure et une feuille inférieure liées l'une à l'autre ; un ensemble électrode contenu dans le boîtier de type étui, la cellule secondaire comportant en outre une couche d'enrobage de polymère pour améliorer les propriétés d'étanchéité sur la surface périphérique externe du boîtier de type étui, sur laquelle la feuille supérieure et la feuille inférieure du boîtier de type étui sont liées l'une à l'autre.
