Summary: | The present invention relates to a filter and an electrolysis apparatus. The filter and the electrolysis apparatus comprise: an inflow and outflow port including an inlet for receiving the flow of ballast water from the outside, and an outlet for discharging the ballast water; a disk-type filter for filtering the ballast water which flows in from the inflow and outflow port; and an electrode module which electrolyzes the ballast water flowing in from the inflow and outflow inlet, and which is formed by laminating at least one electrode module, wherein the filter is preferred to be a disk-type filter. Thus, the sterilization efficiency of the ballast water satisfies USCG standards during a ballasting step for the ballast water.
