An outdoor machine for an air-conditioner, comprising: a case having an opening in the rear surface side thereof; and a heat exchanger having a flat area formed in a planar shape, and housed inside the case such that the flat area is exposed from the opening on the rear surface side of the case. A side edge section of the opening on the rear surface side is provided at a position facing the flat area, and is folded towards the heat exchanger side so as to fill in a gap between the side edge section and the heat exchanger. Une section de bord latéral de l'ouverture sur le côté de surface arrière est ménagée à une position faisant face à la zone plate, et est pliée en direction du côté échangeur thermique de façon à remplir un espace entre la section de bord latéral et l'échangeur thermique.
