The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ornamenting method using resin potting, whereby a resin potting, which is an ornament heaped with a synthetic resin, can be formed in a free shape on an object to be ornamented. An ornamenting method using resin potting, whereby a resin potting (12), which is an ornament heaped with a synthetic resin (12a), is formed on an object (11) to be ornamented, is characterized by comprising: a liquid-repellent frame formation step for providing a liquid-repellent frame (13) on the object (11), said liquid-repellent frame having a higher repellency against a liquid material, from which the resin potting (12) is to be formed, than the object (11) and being capable of blocking the liquid material due to the liquid repellency; and a material dropping step for dropping the liquid material, from which the resin potting (12) is to be formed, onto the inside of the liquid-repellent frame (13) that is formed on the object (11) in the liquid-repellent frame formation step. Le problème décrit par la présente invention est de proposer un procédé de décoration utilisant l'empotage en résine permettant à un empotage en résine qui est un décor recouvert d'une résine synthétique, d'être façonné dans une forme libre sur un objet à décorer. La solution de la présente invention porte sur un procédé de décoration utilisant l'empotage en résine, permettant de former un empotage en résine (12), qui est un décor recouvert d'une résine synthétique (12a), sur un objet (11) à décorer, ledit procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend : une étape de formation de cadre repoussant le liquide consistant à former un cadre repoussant le liquide (13) sur l'objet (11), ledit cadre repoussant le liquide présentant une résistance au mouillage supérieure contre un matériau liquide, à partir duquel l'empotage en résine (12) doit être formé, à l'objet (11) et pouvant bloquer le matériau liquide en raison de la résistance au mouillage ; et une étape d'égouttage du matériau permettant d'égoutter le matériau liquide, à partir duquel l'empotage en résine (12) doit être formé, sur l'intérieur du cadre repoussant le liquide (13) qui est formé sur l'objet (11) au cours de l'étape de formation de cadre repoussant le liquide.
