On the basis of a parking space (L0) located in front of a vehicle (V) in the direction said vehicle (V) is driving, a drive controller (10) engages an acceleration restriction whereby the acceleration of the vehicle (V) is restricted in accordance with a throttle position. If, while said acceleration restriction is engaged, the drive controller (10) detects that the distance between the vehicle (V) and the parking space (L0) located in front of the vehicle (V) in the direction the vehicle (V) is driving is increasing, the drive controller (10) disengages the acceleration restriction. Dans le cas de figure d'un espace de stationnement (L0) se trouvant devant un véhicule (V) dans la direction dans laquelle ledit véhicule (V) avance, un dispositif de commande (10) active une limitation d'accélération selon laquelle l'accélération du véhicule (V) est limitée en fonction d'une position du papillon. Si, quand ladite limitation d'accélération est active, le dispositif de commande (10) détecte que la distance entre le véhicule (V) et l'espace de stationnement (L0) se trouvant devant le véhicule (V) dans la direction dans laquelle le véhicule (V) avance augmente, le dispositif de commande (10) désactive la limitation d'accélération.
