Summary:Provided is an information processing device whereby, while protecting the content of raw data, it is possible to manipulate raw data to an extent with an application program. An information processing device acquires encrypted media data, decodes the encrypted media data and generates raw data, executes a scrambling process on the raw data and generates and outputs scrambled data, decrypts the scrambled data and generates the raw data, and outputs same to a player device. L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement d'informations grâce auquel, tout en protégeant le contenu de données brutes, il est possible de manipuler des données brutes dans une certaine mesure avec un programme d'application. Un dispositif de traitement d'informations acquiert des données multimédia cryptées, décode les données multimédia cryptées et génère des données brutes, exécute un processus de brouillage sur les données brutes puis génère et délivre en sortie des données brouillées, décrypte les données brouillées et génère les données brutes, et les délivre en sortie à un dispositif de lecture.
