L'invention concerne un matériau en alliage à base de Cu-Al-Mn présentant des caractéristiques superélastiques et comprenant une texture de recristallisation constituée sensiblement d'une monophase , au moins 70 % des grains cristallins étant présents dans une plage d'angle de déviation de 0 à 50º à partir de l'orientation , tel que déterminé par un procédé de mesure de motif d'électrons rétrodiffusés dans la direction de travail.
