Summary:An electromechanical converter (electric machine) is described which comprises a stator and a rotatably mounted rotor, the stator being in the form of individual teeth on which a winding is disposed, and which is characterized in that the rotor is in the form of two interconnected yokes which are situated on the outside and on the inside of the stator and to which radially magnetized permanent magnets are fastened to form poles, wherein adjacent permanent magnets are of opposite polarity and both yokes have the same number of permanent magnets, the yokes being interconnected in such a way that the polarity of the permanent magnets on the outside yoke and on the inside yoke coincides, and the number of poles on the rotor is equal to the number of periods of one of the highest harmonics of the magnetomotive force of the stator winding. The technical result of the invention consists in improved characteristics of weight and dimension.
