A transglutaminase activator comprising at least one component selected from the group consisting of an extract of a plant Justicia procumbens, an extract of a plant Peristrophe japonica and a compound represented by general formula (1) as an active ingredient. [In general formula (1), R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group or an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of binding to R2 to form a methylenedioxy group; R4 and R5 independently represent a hydrogen atom, or represent groups capable of binding to each other to form a methylenedioxy group; R6 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an alkoxy group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, an acyloxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a specific sugar residue.] L'invention concerne un activateur de transglutaminase comprenant au moins un constituant choisi dans le groupe consistant en un extrait d'une plante Justicia procumbens, un extrait d'une plante Peristrophe japonica et un composé représenté par la formule générale (1) comme principe actif.
