The vermin controlling agent comprises, as an active ingredient, 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene. L'invention fournit un nouvel agent de lutte contre les insectes nuisibles arrêtant de manière immédiate le mouvement des insectes nuisibles, permettant de tuer les insectes, sans risque d'explosion, ni d'inflammation, ni de destruction de la couche d'ozone, et de faible potentiel de réchauffement de la planète, et permettant une mise en oeuvre en toute sécurité. Cet agent de lutte contre les insectes nuisibles présente pour composant actif un 1-chloro-3, 3, 3-trifluoropropène.
