The invention also relates to some novel intermediary compounds and processes for the preparation thereof. L'invention porte sur un nouveau procédé pour la préparation de dronédarone (I) et de sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables de celle-ci, qui comprend la réaction d'un composé de formule (IV) avec un composé de formule (VI) dans une région de Grignard, et l'isolement du produit obtenu et, si on le souhaite, la conversion de celui-ci en un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celui-ci. L'invention porte également sur certains nouveaux composés intermédiaires et sur des procédés pour la préparation de ceux-ci.
