Summary:A television receiver (100) is provided with the following: a quantization-code acquisition unit (11) that acquires a quantization code (1) allocated to each of a plurality of blocks constituting an image; a correction-coefficient setting unit (12) that compares each quantization code with a threshold to set a correction coefficient (2) for correcting the luminance of the image; and a display control unit (13) that uses said correction coefficient to display the image using HDR correction. Un récepteur de télévision (100) est pourvu : d'une unité d'acquisition de code de quantification (11) qui acquiert un code de quantification (1) attribué à chaque bloc d'une pluralité de blocs constituant une image ; d'une unité de définition de coefficient de correction (12) qui compare chaque code de quantification avec un seuil pour définir un coefficient de correction (2) afin de corriger la luminance de l'image ; et d'une unité de commande d'affichage (13) qui utilise ledit coefficient de correction pour afficher l'image au moyen de la correction HDR.
